Transitions Life Style System - 30 Day Results/Top Chef

So it has been a little over 30 days and I am feeling great and still not hungry. On day 31 I measured myself and lost 5 1/2 inches. 1 1/2 in. chest, 1 1/2 waist, 1 1/2 hips, and 1/2 in. per arm. It's weird that they don't measure the thighs. So the tally is 5 1/2 in. not including the thighs and I know I lost there too because I am wearing gym pants that I wouldn't have worn before.

So all in all I would say this is a great success. I am continuing the program for another 8 weeks. I couldn't be happier. I will give my next set of results at the 60 day mark!!!

TOP CHEF

BYE BYE SPIKE!!!

I wasn't so crazy about Spike but I can't believe they left Lisa in. David Dust claims the producers may have a hand in this because they want to increase the odds so a woman finally wins. That may seem true to me because I just can't believe she is in the top four.

I like Stephanie but I don't care who wins as long as it is not Lisa!!!

Holiday weekend

It was a wonderful 4 days off with the kids. The hubby was home all 4 days. We had a great weekend here in New York. The weather was awesome. Our pool and tennis club opened on Friday. I got some sun and tennis in all weekend long. I think I killed the hubby. He is not used to playing tennis. We went to a family circle reunion for my hubby's Greek side of the family. It was a wonderful day in Marmaroneck overlooking a lake. The kids went out on a boat and we had such nice weather, great food, and had fun meeting the family. We also went to see Indiana Jones with the kids. The movie is a great family movie. Yesterday we hosted a barbecue with some city friends. It was just an enjoyable family weekend.

Tomorrow is the the 30 day mark. I will measure on day 31. I will keep you posted.

American Idol - David Cook Wins

I am so happy for David Cook. I think what happened is the older generation was in fear of him losing and finally voted extra. I know I voted 15 times and my mom who has never voted did it 10 times. I think that David Archuleta is a very talented kid but he is so young and will have no problem with a career. To me he was just a bit boring. I will definitely download songs that David Cook sings. I love his voice. I also think he is quite sexy!!! I am so happy for him and I think it may have help that Simon was hard on him because his fan stepped it up and voted more because of it. My kids and I were jumping up and down when Ryan Seacrest said his name.

Congratulations to David Cook!!!

Check Out My New Dress/Wish List Wednesday

While we were on vacation on the Queen Mary 2 our garment bag got stolen and a bunch of my formal clothing was taken. We did get an insurance check and I now have an event June 1st and no dress to wear. I was in Bloomingdale's and they were having a 40% sale on all dresses. Since I need to replace my clothing it was the first time in my life I didn't look at price tags. Most dresses ranged from $150-$500 and with the 40% off it would have been a great deal. I tried on about 15 dresses and I finally found one I loved. It was a tiny bit big but I needed the larger size to fit the bust area. I got up to the register and the woman said to me you got such a great deal. I said how much I didn't even look at the tag. It came to $50. It was already marked down and then another 40%.

The best part is that I tried it on today and now it is really big on me. Now I have to get it tailored. Who cares my Transition weight loss program is really working. Even with the tailoring it is still a bargain.

Wish List Wednesday
1. A sunny and warm Memorial day weekend
2. Enjoying every moment with my kids before they leave for camp

Water Balloon Flip Flops

The weekends have been very busy. I am spending as much time with the kids until they go off to sleep away camp. Check out the flip flops I made with my daughter last year. I need to make a new pair for this year. All you do is tie in a knot with the water balloons. It is easy just a bit time consuming and your fingers hurt like heck after. The end result is cool and it is worth it. I just made a pair for Patrica's daughter because she's done so much for my kids. I'm glad I can finally give back something creative to her.

Dance Recital/Weight Loss Program Results/Wish List Wednesday

So that is the $150 outfit. Enough complaining. My daughter just loves being on stage even if it is just a couple of minutes. She decided right after the show she is continuing dance. She did a great job and since the show was with older girls it wasn't half bad. It was quite enjoyable. I haven't had time to even check emails these days so sorry for not blogging. Things are slowing down now so I will have a little more time.

So far the Transitions Weight loss program is working and I've seen the fastest results ever. It's has been 17 days and I am already in certain pants I couldn't get into 2 weeks ago. I am still not able to measure until 30 days but I even see the results in the gym. My stomach is much flatter. I haven't really cheated and I don't feel deprived. There hasn't been any night I have gone to bed hungry. I know with weight watchers I was hungry all the time. Don't get me wrong I saw results from weight watchers but as soon as I was off it for a week it would take months to get the weight off again. I read a lot of labels now, things with low sugar, lots of fruits and veggies and protein. I also eat the bars and some meals that the diet offers. They are pretty good and very satisfying, there's a chocolate crunch bar and an oatmeal raisin bar. I will keep posting with my updates.

Wish List Wednesday-
1. Continuing my weight loss program with ease
2. Continue having these great results on this weight loss program
3. Little less stress for the husband at work

Dance Recital Weekend

Well I thought Willy Wonka was a pain. Wait till you hear this. 12 Sundays of extra rehearsal. 3 girls were out one Sunday during February Break because we all were on vacation as a family and they still had rehearsal. Since we complained the girls got taken out of their number for 32 seconds. The whole dance is 3 minutes. Other girls missed classes but they were not pulled out. So now my whole Mother's Day is revolved around a 2 1/2 hour show and my kid is on stage of 2 and a half minutes!!!! My Saturday night is going to be exciteing. I have to come 1 hour before the show and help out behind stage. At least I saved 20 bucks for the ticket. Of course the whole family has to come tomorrow and we can't ask them to pay for the tickets. The little sequenced sleeveless romper cost $150. It is scratching my girls arm to a pulp. Last night at the dress rehearsal she ripped her stockings from the lovely dress. The dance studio is closed today due to the recital so I had to drive around for 45 minutes to find these darn stocking. Enough rambling and complaining I sure tonight and tomorrow I will be in a better mood when I see my little darling up on stage. What we do for our kids!!!

Business is Booming/Crazy Day

I got my third business partner officially today and our team is on a roll. We are growing and every day I find a new product that I love. Welcome to Sharyn and Sharon for joining our awesome team!!!

Today was a bit crazy. I left the house at 9 for spinning, then came home to shower, got nails done, picked up 3 girls from school, drove them to my house, picked the boy from school, came home to pick girls up and have the boy eat and get into baseball uniform, drove girls to dance, came back home for baseball glove, went to bike shop to look for new bike, picked up donuts for the gang, picked up girls from dance, drove the boy to the baseball field, dropped girls at a friend's house drove back to baseball field to watch and just got home by 7:40 and had to prepare and eat dinner.

I am just exhausted even writing it down.

Dinner Party

Last night I had a wonderful dinner party at my house. If I may pat myself on the back the dinner was great. I was also able to stay on my Transitions Weight Loss Plan and enjoy the entire evening. I was still able to have wine, shrimp, veggies, guacamole, sword fish, lamb, clams and fruit. Not a bad meal!!! I didn't even feel deprived. I will have results after 30 days. I cannot weigh or measure myself until then. 22 days left. I will keep you posted. So far I haven't felt hungry yet.

Making Wishes Come True

So just yesterday I put on my wish list to be successful in my business. I also have an appointment on Sunday for another friend to come into the business as well. So my wish list Wednesdays are really working!!! Some other wishes that came true are my TV in my kitchen which I got 2 weeks ago and I have been researching lap top computers.

There were sunny skies NY today too!!! How about that.
